This is a personal site promoting the Heritage and History and Greatness of a small area in the Scottish Borders.

How fantastic to stumble upon ruinous castles, forgotten tower houses, and great people living amongst this landscape!

Explore Fatlips Castle, perched high upon its crags, and help support the aim of its restoration.

Explore Spittal-on-Rule, a farm that was once a prominant location for battles, hanging and witches!
